COVID-19 & its impact

Since we at the loving family first enhancement fund mission has always been on improving the overall lifestyle of individuals living with doctors diagnosed disease, we were able to address our clients needs more directly. However, we were stunned to hear self reports of our clients on the issue of loneliness. The impact of the COVID pandemic has been and still is catastrophic to our rural communities. Three out of five of our clients self-report feelings of loneliness and isolation. Such Feelings are a precursor to depression and other mental health disorders, and a risk factor for heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, anxiety and much more.

Chronic Disease Self-Management Workshops

We specifically address mental Health and mental health disorders, medical issues, Sensory issues, and integration of intellectual and developmental disability advancement. We use research, prevention / disease control and lifestyle factors such as malnutrition, inactivity, social isolation, and chronic stress reduction to improve lives. Most of our wellness health protocols results in restorative well-being.

As per the CDC, Do you know that there is now overwhelming evidence that using lifestyle modifications such as healthy, adequate micro and macro -nutrients, restful sleep patterns, healthy relationship bonding, can actually help in addressing diseases like diabetes, Arthritis, Depression, anxiety and social isolation?
